EGR Control Solenoid: Description and Operation

EGR Solenoid Location:

The EGR control solenoid valve, located near center of the firewall, is an electrically operated valve. It is controlled by the ECU and permits EGR operation.
- When energized, electromagnetism closes the valve, closing the passage between the two ports.
