Power Seat Motor: Testing and Inspection

The content of this article reflects changes called for in TSB 26-08-96.

Inspection of All Power Seat Motors

1. Disconnect each motor at the connector.






2. Connect the terminals of each motor directly to the battery and check that the motor turns freely and each adjusting mechanism operates in the directions shown in the table.
3. If there is any malfunction, replace the power seat adjuster assembly.
