Code No.34 Connector lock system


[Explanation]

This code is output when defective connection of SRS-ECU connector is detected.

When the normal state is restored for a continuous period of 1±0.2 seconds, code No. 34 is automatically erased, and the SRS warning light goes out.

Probable cause of trouble

Defective connector

Defective SRS-ECU

Caution

After the ignition switch has been placed at the LOCK position and the negative (-) terminal of the battery has been disconnected, wait for more than 60 seconds before starting work. Wind a tape around the disconnected (-) terminal for insulation.
