Steering Gear Replacement

MANUAL STEERING GEAR REPLACE
1. Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove clamp bolt securing joint with pinion shaft.
3. Remove tie end stud nut, then using suitable puller disconnect tie rod from steering knuckle.
4. Remove steering gear clamp bolts from crossmember, then remove steering gear.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
