Fig. 6 Axle Hub Removal:

HUB AND BEARING REPLACE
1. Remove axle hub in sequence as shown, noting following:

a. Use end yoke holder tool No. MB990767, or equivalent, to remove drive shaft nut.
b. On models with ABS, ensure end pole piece does not contact teeth of rotor or other parts.

2. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:

a. When installing flange nut, crimp nut to meet concave portion of spindle.
b. On models with ABS, adjust speed sensor by placing a feeler gauge speed sensors pole piece and rotors toothed surface. Gap should be between 0.008-0.028 inches, then tighten speed sensor.
