DESCRIPTION
If there is no output from pulse generator A at a vehicle speed of 43km/h (27 MPH) or more, code No. 31 is output to indicate that pulse generator A is open-circuited. If code No. 31 is output four times, fail safe code No. 81 is output to indicate that pulse generator A has been open-circuited and this activates the fail safe function to lock transaxle at the 3rd speed (D) or 2nd speed (2, L).
