7 Shocks When Shifting From N to D and Long Lag Time

PROBLEM
Excessive shock or time lag at time of shift from N to D

DESCRIPTION
When the selector lever position is changed for a shift from N to D with the engine at idle, excessive shock or time lag of 2 secs. or more occurs. In this case, a defective rear clutch, valve body, etc. are suspected.

PROBABLE CAUSE OF TROUBLE
- Defective rear clutch
- Defective valve body
- Defective closed throttle position switch
