TIP: In order to make it easy to remove the water pump pulley, loosen the pulley mounting bolt with the belt attached beforehand.

WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT
1. Drain cooling system into a suitable container.
2. Remove timing belt as outlined under Timing Belt, Replace.
3. Remove timing belt rear cover then water pump, Fig. 52.
4. Reverse procedure to install, installing water pump bolts in locations shown in Fig. 54.
