4-Speed Overdrive

Transmission Linkage:

1. Disconnect 3 shift rods from shifter assembly.
2. Insert a 1/4 diameter gauge pin through alignment hole in shifter assembly, ensuring levers are in Neutral position.
3. Align 3rd-4th (forward) lever and 1st-2nd (rearward) lever in neutral (midway) position and rotate reverse (middle) lever counterclockwise to Neutral position.
4. Rotate output shaft to ensure transmission is in neutral.
5. Shift reverse lever clockwise to Reverse position, then attach 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th shift rods to corresponding levers and torque locknuts to 15-20 ft lbs (21-27 Nm). Rotate reverse lever back to Neutral position, then install reverse shift rod and torque locknut to 15-20 ft lbs (21-27 Nm).
6. Remove gauge pin and check linkage for proper operation.
