Synchronizer Ring: Service and Repair

Synchronizer Assemblies:

1. Place alignment marks between hub and sleeve. Push synchronizer hub from sleeve.
2. Separate inserts and springs from hubs. Do not mix parts from one synchronizer to another
3. Position hub in sleeve, being sure that alignment marks are properly indexed.
4. Place three inserts into hub. Install insert springs, making sure that irregular surface (hump) is seated in one of inserts. Do not stagger springs.
