Removal and Installation

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Drain transmission fluid by removing lower extension housing to transmission bolt.
3. Disconnect driveshaft from transmission and position aside.
4. Disconnect speedometer cable from extension housing and the gearshift rods from shift levers.
5. Raise transmission slightly, using a suitable jack, and remove 4 extension housing to insulator attaching bolts.
6. Remove 4 transmission to flywheel housing attaching bolts, then carefully lower transmission from vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
