Pressure Test & Decal Information
PRESSURE TEST1. Pressure test all fuel tanks. Use the Rotunda Fuel Tank Assembly Pressure Tester Number 134-00003 to be sure the reinstalled fuel tank, filler system, fuel lines, and vent system are leak-free. Checking instructions are provided with the tester. Be sure to retest the system after repairing any look.
2. Remove the pressure test equipment and temporary plug, and reattach the vent line.
3. Refill the fuel tanks.
DECAL
1. Select any smooth area adjacent to each fuel filler pipe that is clearly visible when filling the fuel tanks (the inside surfaces of the fuel fill doors are satisfactory on Type II ambulances.
2. Clean an area larger than the decal (Item 11) in each location. Use a cleaner (such as alcohol, 1,1,1,- trichlorethane, or detergent) that leaves no significant residue.
3. Peel the decals (Item 11) of of their backing sheets and smooth them on to the prepared surfaces. Work out any trapped air bubbles with the edge of a stiff card.
