Assemble piston to rod so that connecting rod weight pad is installed on the opposite side of the piston as the relief pocket, Fig. 13. Install the piston into the cylinder so the piston relief pocket is on the camshaft side of the engine and the arrow on the piston top also faces the camshaft side of the engine, Fig. 13.
