ENGINE - 6.9L DIESEL - NEW IMPROVED CYLINDER HEAD GASKET

LIGHT TRUCK: 1983-87 E-250/350, F-250/350

ISSUE: A new improved cylinder head gasket with two (2) new lower corner water grommets and two (2) new oil seal rings is available for servicing the 6.9L diesel engine. The new water grommets and new oil rings eliminate the Print-O-Seal bead that was previously used.

FIGURE 9:

ACTION: If service is required, use the new cylinder head gasket, Figure 9. Installation instructions are included with the cylinder head gasket.
