A/T - Check ABS Excitor Ring During Differential Rebuild

SUBJECT: ABS - Excitor Ring

APPLICATION: Ford Bronco - F-150

When servicing a differential on the Ford Bronco or F-150, "Always" inspect the RABS excitor ring. You should look for a bent ring or missing or chipped teeth that could cause erratic anti-lock brake operation. If damage is found, remove and replace the excitor ring. Always clean the sensor pole piece in the differential housing.
