LIGHT TRUCK 1983-86 E SERIES, F SERIES

ISSUE: Fuel leaks at the return lines at cylinder numbers 1, 2 and 7 injectors may be caused by the fuel return line plastic cap.

ACTION: In the event of a fuel leak at the return line cap, the tee and cap can be replaced with a new design single nipple tee, E6TZ-9A564-A, which eliminates the need for a plastic cap.

NOTE: The cylinders on a 6.9L diesel engine are numbered 1, 3, 5 and 7 on the passenger's side and 2, 4, 6 and 8 on the driver's side.
