CURB IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
- Set parking brake and block wheels.
- Place the transmission in Neutral (manual) or Park (automatic).
- Bring the engine to normal operating temperature.
- Disconnect the electric connector on the EVAP purge solenoid.
- Disconnect and plug the vacuum hose to the Vacuum Operated Throttle Modulator (VOTM) kicker.
- Place the transmission in specified position. Specifications

Without Automatic Overdrive:

With Automatic Overdrive:

- Check/adjust curb idle rpm. Specifications
- Place the transmission in Neutral or Park. Rev the engine momentarily. Place the transmission in specified position and recheck curb idle rpm. Readjust if required.
