VACUUM PUMP - MOUNTING BRACKET CRACKED/BROKEN (6.9L DIESEL)

If diagnosis shows that the engine vacuum pump mounting bracket is cracked, this bracket must not be serviced by welding, since the bracket may crack again. Instead, replace the bracket with a new design service bracket E3TZ-2C140-B. After bracket replacement, adjust the belt tension to 100 lbs. and tighten bolts to 14.9-25.8 N-m (11-19 ft.lbs.).
