A no start condition on one of the above-mentioned vehicles may be caused by a shorted oil pressure sender switch wire. Diagnose and service as follows:

1. Inspect oil pressure sender switch wire located in left front area of engine for evidence of chafing on the left exhaust manifold (Figure 11).
2. If it is found that the wire has chafed through and is shorting on the exhaust manifold, service the wire and tie strap the wire to the power steering or idler arm bracket to avoid chafing (Figure 11).
