AIR CONDITIONING - DEALER INSTALLED - HOSE INTERFERENCE (2.2L DIESEL)


LIGHT TRUCKS 1983 RANGER

The 2.2L diesel Ranger has a new extension on the air cleaner assembly which will interfere with the proper hose routing on the suction side of the compressor. A new 90~ adapter fitting, E3TZ-19D630-A, which attaches to the suction side of the compressor, is required to properly route the suction hose. This fitting will be included in compressor clutch kit E3TZ-19703-B after June 1, 1983. Those kits purchased and/or installed prior to June 1, 1983 should have the adapter added to eliminate any interference.
