This solenoid assembly is an integral part of the YFA feedback carburetor. The feedback solenoid operates as a pulse width modulated (dithering) solenoid, varying the air bleed into the idle and main fuel metering circuits. The solenoid responds to commands from the EEC-IV system, thereby varying the air/fuel ratio delivered to the engine, Fig. 3.
