Axle Pivot Bushing

Removal
1. Remove the axle.

2. Install Forcing Screw, Bushing Remover and Receiver Cup onto the pivot bushing. Turn the forcing screw and remove the pivot bushing (see illustration).

Installation
1. Place pivot bushing in axle housing. Install Receiver Cup, Forcing Screw and Bushing Replacer into housing and install bushing (see illustration).





2. After installing, the "lead in" end or bushing lip must be flared to prevent movement. Install Forcing Screw, Flaring Tool, and Receiving Cup, and flare the bushing as shown in the illustration.
