Engine Cranks But Will Not Start
1. Turn ignition switch to Run and check for voltage to fuel shut-off solenoid using a suitable 12 volt test lamp. If test lamp lights, proceed to step 2. If test lamp does not light, repair circuit as necessary.
2. Disconnect, then reconnect fuel shut-off solenoid electrical connector with ignition switch in Run. If solenoid clicks, proceed to step 3. If solenoid does not click, replace solenoid and repeat test.
3. Loosen one fuel injector nozzle line and crank engine. If there is no fuel flow while cranking engine, refer to ``Poor Engine Performance'' diagnosis. If fuel flow is observed, refer to ``Glow Plug Control System'' diagnosis.
