With Manual Locking Hubs

1. Raise the vehicle until the tire clears the floor and remove the wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove the brake caliper and secure to the underbody to prevent damage to the brake hose. It is not necessary to disconnect the hose from the caliper.

CAUTION: Do not let the caliper hang with its weight on the brake hose or the hose may become stretched, twisted or ruptured.

3. Remove the retainer washers from the lugnut studs and the manual locking hub assembly from the spindle.
4. Remove the snap ring from the end of the spindle shaft.

Axle Shaft Spacer:






5. Remove the axle shaft spacer.

Locknut Wrench:






6. Remove the outer wheel bearing locknut from the spindle using a hub locknut wrench. Engage tool tabs into locknut slots.

Locknut Washer:






7. Remove locknut washer from spindle.
8. Remove the inner locknut and slide rotor off spindle being careful to catch the outer wheel bearing.
