Roof Opening Panel Glass - Rear Fixed

Removal

NOTE: The roof opening panel motor(s) must be initialized when repairs are carried out on any part of the roof opening panel system, including whenever:
- the roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel glass has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel assembly has been removed from the vehicle.
- a new roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel glass has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel assembly has been installed.

REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel and REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade.

1. Remove the roof opening panel frame assembly and place on a stable work surface. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Frame .

2. Remove the 8 rear fixed glass panel screws and the fixed glass panel.



Installation

NOTE: The roof opening panel motor(s) must be initialized when repairs are carried out on any part of the roof opening panel system, including whenever:
- the roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel glass has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel assembly has been removed from the vehicle.
- a new roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel glass has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel assembly has been installed.

REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel and REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade.

1. Install the rear fix glass panel on the roof opening panel frame assembly and install the 8 rear fixed glass panel screws.
- Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

2. Install the roof opening panel frame assembly. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Frame .

3. Check for correct alignment of the rear fixed glass panel. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Alignment - Rear .

4. Initialize the sliding glass panel motor and the power shade motor. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel and REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade.
