Transmission Support Insulator

Removal
1. Remove the battery tray. REFER to Battery and Battery Tray - Exploded View .
2. NOTICE: Keep the TCM (Transmission Control Module) electrical connector straight when disconnecting it or damage to the connector terminals can occur.
Slide the lock tab up and disconnect the TCM (Transmission Control Module) electrical connector.
3. Remove the wiring and the vacuum retainers from the TCM (Transmission Control Module) bracket.
4. Remove the 2 transmission support insulator nuts and the TCM (Transmission Control Module) bracket bolt and remove the TCM (Transmission Control Module) support bracket.
5. Remove the cowl panel. REFER to Cowl Panel .
6. Install 303-F072 and support the engine and transmission.
7. Remove the 2 transmission support insulator nuts, the transmission support insulator bolt and the transmission support insulator.
Installation
1. Clean the transmission support insulator bolt using a wire brush and apply new Threadlock and Sealer to the threads.
2. Install the transmission support insulator and install the transmission support insulator bolt and 2 transmission support insulator nuts.
1. Torque: 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).
2. Torque: 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
3. Remove 303-F072.
4. Install the cowl panel. REFER to Cowl Panel .
5. Install the TCM (Transmission Control Module) bracket, install the 2 transmission support insulator nuts and install the TCM (Transmission Control Module) bracket bolt.
1. Torque: 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
2. Torque: 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
6. Install the vacuum tube retainer and the 2 wiring retainers on the TCM (Transmission Control Module) bracket.
7. NOTICE: Keep the TCM (Transmission Control Module) electrical connector straight when connecting it or damage to the connector terminals can occur.
Connect the TCM (Transmission Control Module) electrical connector and slide the lock tab down to lock the connector.
8. Install the battery tray. REFER to Battery and Battery Tray - Exploded View .
