Thermal Bypass Valve - 2.0L GTDI

Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Lifting Points .

2. Remove the ACL (Air Cleaner) assembly. REFER to Intake Air System Components - Exploded View .

6. Special Tool(s): Disconnect Tool TOC Line (1/2") 307-569






Installation

1.

- Torque: 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

- Torque: 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).





5. Install the ACL (Air Cleaner) assembly. REFER to Intake Air System Components - Exploded View .

6. Fill the transmission with Motorcraft(R) MERCON(R) LV Automatic Transmission Fluid and verify correct operation. REFER to Transmission Fluid Level Check .
