Air Injection Check Valve: Description and Operation

This valve, used on some vehicles, allows thermactor air to enter exhaust port drillings, but prevents reverse flow of exhaust gases in event of improper operation of system components. This valve is located between bypass valve and exhaust port drillings, either on air manifold or engine.
