NOTE: Ford DOES NOT provide procedures other than those described to retrieve or clear trouble codes.

1. Ignition switch OFF.

Data Link Connector:

2. Jumper Circuit 836 (O/W) of the ABS diagnostic connector to ground.
3. Key ON.
4. Observe the anti-lock warning lamp.

NOTE: The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will begin to flash immediately without introduction and flash only once. Ignition switch cycling can repeat DTCs if numbers are missed, as long as vehicle has not been driven.
