ISSUE:
The odometer and trip meter may stick, be inoperative and/or make a "clicking" noise due to an ungreased stepper motor worm gear.

ACTION:
For noise concerns, apply silicone grease to the stepper motor worm gear. Refer to the following text for service details.

If a concern with a stuck odometer is present, call 1-800-482-0439 or 1-313-843-8250, Ext. 645 and order an Odometer Service Kit (SSP1212), or a written request may be made to F. B. Wright, 9999 Mercier Ave., Dearborn, MI 48120. Ordered kits will be shipped overnight delivery. Refer to Instruction Sheet 7221, included in the kit, for the detailed service procedure.
