Safety Belt Warning System

The safety belt warning light and chime reminds the occupant to fasten their safety belt. The following conditions will take place:

- If safety belt is not buckled when the ignition switch is turned to the RUN position, the light comes on for 1 to 2 minutes and the chime sounds for 4 to 8 seconds.

- If safety belt is buckled while the light is on and the chime is sounding, both the light and chime turn oft.

- If safety belt is buckled before the key is turned to the ON position, both the light and chime will not turn on.
