Coalescer

COALESCER

REMOVAL

WARNING: The fuel system will remain pressurized after engine shutdown. This pressure must be relieved before servicing any part of the fuel system, or personal injury or property damage can result.

1. Carry out the Pressure Relief-Fuel System.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Raise the vehicle.







4. Remove the bolts and remove the fuel pressure regulator shield.







5. Disconnect the electrical connector.







6. Disconnect the fuel inlet and outlet tubes from the fuel coalescer/filter.







7. Remove the bolts and remove the coalescer/filter.







8. Remove the positional fittings from the coalescer/filter.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Pressurize the fuel system.
1 Turn the jack screws counterclockwise until resistance is felt.
2 Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
