Hood Latch: Description and Operation

HOOD MECHANISM

The hood opens from the front and is secured by means of a double catch in the hood latch.

The hood latch is mounted on the grill opening reinforcement (GOR) panel.

The hood catch engages around the striker which is secured to the underside of the hood at the front.
