Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair

AIR INLET BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR

REMOVAL
1. Open and unhook the glove compartment.







2. NOTE: The servo motor is hard to access.

Remove the air recirculation flap servo motor.
- Disconnect the plugs.
- Remove the three screws.

INSTALLATION

1. NOTE: The servo motor is keyed onto a shaft. For this reason, the air recirculation flap may have to be pushed into the correct position with the fingertips.

Refit the components in reverse order.

2. Check the operation of the air recirculation flap.
