Fuel Injector Wiring Harness: Service and Repair

FUEL CHARGING WIRING HARNESS

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.







3. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.







4. Detach the breather hose from the valve cover.







5. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) electrical connector.







6. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.







7. Disconnect the fuel injection wiring harness electrical connector.
8. Raise and support the vehicle.







9. Remove the engine undershield.







10. Disconnect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.
11. Lower the vehicle.







12. Disconnect the cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor electrical connector.







13. Disconnect the accelerator cable.
1 Remove the retaining clip and detach the inner cable from the throttle body.
2 Rotate the outer cable.
3 Disconnect the accelerator cable.







14. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.
15. Remove the fuel injection wiring harness.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
