Steering Gear Bushing





Special Tool(s)

Removal
1. Remove the steering gear.





2. Using the special tools, remove the insulator bushings.
3. Thoroughly clean and visually inspect the bushing housing for signs of damage. If the housing is damaged, install a new steering gear.

Installation





1. NOTE: Lubricate the new bushing with a suitable rubber lubricant.

Using the special tool, install new insulator bushings.





2. Using the special tools, make sure the insulator bushings are installed to the correct depth.
3. Install the steering gear.
