Transaxle Draining and Filling





Material

1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Remove the transaxle drain plug.
- Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.
- Discard the seal.





3. NOTE: Install a new drain plug seal.

NOTE: Clean the drain plug threads.

Install the drain plug.





4. Remove the transaxle filler plug.





5. CAUTION: The total amount of oil is 1.7 L. In case of transaxle refill, fill the transaxle with approximately 1.5 L - 1.6 L.

With the vehicle on a level surface, fill the transaxle to below the lower edge of the filler plug bore with manual transmission fluid.





6. Install the transaxle filler plug.
7. Lower the vehicle.
