Hood Latch: Service and Repair

HOOD LATCH

REMOVAL







1. Remove the radiator air deflector.







2. Remove the radiator grill.







3. Remove the two hood latch bolts.
- Disconnect the hood latch electrical connector.







4. CAUTION: Make sure that the fins on the radiator are not damaged while moving the hood latch.

Detach the hood latch.
1 Move the hood latch to one side.
2 Disconnect the hood latch release cable.







5. Remove the hood latch.
- Rotate the hood latch to remove.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
