Cowl Moulding / Trim: Service and Repair

COWL PANEL GRILLE

Removal

All vehicles







1. Remove the two nuts and the two wiper pivot arms.

Early build vehicles







2. Remove the LH and RH cowl panel grilles.
1 Remove the screw cover.
2 Remove screw.
3 Release the clips.

Late build vehicles







3. NOTE: The LH cowl panel grille must be removed prior to removing the RH cowl panel grille.

Release the clips and remove the LH and RH cowl panel grilles.
- Release the cowl panel grilles from the windshield moulding.

Installation

Early build vehicles







1. Install a butyl strip (L = 750 mm) on to the cowl panel grille.







2. Install the cowl panel grille.
1 Locate the clips.
2 Install the screw.
3 Install the screw cover.

Late build vehicles







3. NOTE: The RH cowl panel grille must be installed before the LH cowl panel grille is installed.

Install the RH and LH cowl panel grilles.
- Engage the cowl panel grilles into the windshield moulding.

All vehicles







4. Install the two wiper pivot arms and the two nuts.
