REAR CENTER SAFETY BELT RETRACTOR - 3-DOOR/WAGON

REMOVAL







1. Detach the center safety belt lower anchor.







2. NOTE: The safety belt webbing retainer is supplied with new safety belts. Do not use any other retaining method.

Install the safety belt webbing retainer before removing the safety cover and pad.

3. Disassemble the rear seat backrest.







4. NOTE: Locking off the backrest latch allows the safety belt to be moved when the backrest is in its normal upright position.

Lock off the backrest latch.







5. Detach the retractor lock cable.







6. Remove the center rear safety belt retractor.

INSTALLATION












1. CAUTION: Check the operation of the safety belt retractor, the cable routing and latch interlock operation before fully assembling the rear seat backrest.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
