MT285 Transaxle

1. Detach the gearshift lever boot from the floor console.






2. Using the special tool, lock the gearshift lever.

3. Remove the air cleaner.






4. Release the locking tabs from the gearshift cable (colored white) and the selector cable (colored black).






5. Shift the gearshift mechanism to the neutral position (gearshift cable and selector cable shown removed for clarity).






6. Adjust the gearshift cable (colored white) and the selector cable (colored black) by pulling the locking tabs.

7. Install the air cleaner.






8. Remove the special tool.






9. Attach the gearshift lever boot to the floor console.
