Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner-2.0L SPIRemoval
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt splash shield.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Remove the accessory drive belt.
^ Using a 3/8 inch square drive breaker bar in the hole provided, rotate the tensioner clockwise.
5. Detach the power steering pipe.
6. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.
7. Remove the exhaust manifold nut and stud and the accessory drive belt tensioner.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
