Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve: Service and Repair

POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) VALVE

REMOVAL







1. Detach the PCV hose from the PCV valve.







2. CAUTION: Do not pull the PCV valve from the valve cover without first rotating the PCV valve. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the PCV valve.

Remove the PCV valve.
1 Rotate the PCV valve counterclockwise.
2 Pull the PCV valve from the valve cover.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
