Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud 2.3L

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. NOTE: The fan shroud and electric cooling fans are serviced as an assembly.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.





3. Disconnect the dual electric cooling fan electrical connectors.





4. Lift and remove the cooling fan motors and shroud from the retainer brackets and lower from the vehicle.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
