Convertible Top Latch: Service and Repair

REMOVABLE TOP RETAINING LATCH

REMOVAL







1. Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

Item 1: Pin-type Retainer Removal Note
1. Remove the eight pin-type retainers from the underside of the package tray.

Item 4: Bolts RH Side Removal Note
1. (RH side only) Unclip and disconnect the removable top electrical connector.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 5: Removable Top Retaining Latch Installation Note







1. Install the removable top latch.
- Position the bolts but do not tighten at this time.







2. Adjust the removable top so that the latches engage.
- Tighten the removable top latch bolts.
