ISSUE
Some 2002-2005 Thunderbird vehicles may exhibit minor paint abrasions on the rear deck, where the removable roof rests. The vehicle may also exhibit a squeak/creak noise when the removable roof is installed.
ACTION
Install a rear deck care kit. Ensure the removable roof seal to rear deck surface is clean and dry (no lubricants) before installing the kit. Refer to the instruction sheet included with the kit.
