PINPOINT TEST G: TRACTION CONTROL CANNOT BE DISABLED/SWITCH INDICATOR IS ALWAYS ONTests G1 - G3 (continues):
Test G3:
Normal Operation
Engine torque modulation is achieved by regulating fuel and spark to the cylinders. The traction control system operates using the ABS module to interact with the PCM to reduce engine torque if one or both rear wheels lose traction and begin to spin during acceleration.
Voltage is supplied by circuit 8-CF54 (WH/VT).
The switch illumination off circuit is 31S-CF45 (BK/GN).
Possible Causes
^ traction control cancel switch C280
^ power circuit 8-CF54 (WH/VT)
^ illumination circuit 31 S-CF45 (BK/GN)
^ ABS module
