INTERIOR LIGHTING

Power to the footwell lamps and glove compartment lamp is provided through switched system power (SSP) relay 2, circuit 30-DD2 (RD/BU) between the battery junction box (BJB) and the central junction box (CJB). The footwell lamps and glove compartment lamp circuits are protected by the CJB fuse 31 (10A).

Power to the dome/map lamps and the luggage compartment lamp is provided through SSP relay 4, circuit 30S-DB16 (RD/GN) and battery junction box (BJB) fuse 4 (10A).

The dome lamp and the footwell lamps are connected to the front electronic module (FEM). The FEM provides the ground connection when a lighting request is received from one of the door ajar switches or the instrument panel dimmer switch. The luggage compartment lamp is connected to the rear electronic module (REM). The REM completes the ground circuit for the luggage compartment lamp when it receives a signal from the luggage compartment lid ajar switch.
