Removal and Installation

HEATER CONTROL VALVE AND HEATER HOSES

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

NOTE: Lubricate the coolant hoses with plain water only if needed.

1. Position the vehicle on a hoist with the gear selector in NEUTRAL.
2. Remove the engine air cleaner outlet tube.
3. If removing the heater tube assembly, remove the fresh air inlet duct.
4. Drain the engine cooling system.
5. If removing a heater hose, the dual coolant control valve or the auxiliary coolant flow pump, disconnect the upper radiator hose at the engine.







6. To remove individual components, only carry out the given steps.

9. Fill the engine cooling system.
