WINDSHIELD WIPER

REMOVAL

1. CAUTION: The windshield wiper system has an auto-park feature. It is necessary to disconnect the battery.

Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

Item 10: Degas Bottle Removal Note
1. When positioning the degas bottle aside, it will be necessary to reroute the degas bottle lower hose in the front of the brake booster.

Item 14: Windshield Wiper Motor Nut Removal Note







1. Position the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly aside, and loosen the upper windshield wiper motor bolt.







2. NOTE: It is necessary to rotate the bottom of the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly upward.

Rotate the wiper output arm to the 6'o clock position and remove the lower bolts.







3. Remove the windshield wiper motor top bolt and remove the wiper motor crank bolt.
4. Cycle and park the windshield wipers.







5. Remove the pivot arm(s).
1 Remove the pivot arm nut cover(s).
2 Remove the nut(s).
3 Remove the pivot arm(s).

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 3: Windshield Wiper Arm Installation Note
1. Cycle and park the windshield wipers.







2. Install the wiper blade and pivot arm onto the pivot shaft and align the blade to the orange dots in the windshield.







3. Tighten the windshield wiper pivot arm nut(s).
- Install the pivot arm nut cover(s).
